چکیده

White leaf spot pathogen: Neopseudocercosporella capsellae causes significant damage to many economically important Brassicaceae crops, including oilseed rape through foliar, stem, and pod lesions under cool wet conditions. A lack of information on critical aspects the pathogen’s life cycle limits development effective control measures. The presence single-celled spores along with multi-celled conidia cotyledons inoculated suggested that were able form host surface. This study was designed demonstrate N. morphological plasticity, which allows shift between a yeast-like phase hyphal phase. Separate experiments illustrate transformation yeast from hyphae or macroconidia in-vitro in-planta . Results confirmed ability switch two morphologies (septate phase) range artificial culture media ( ) surface before infection occurs. hyphae-to-yeast occurred production morphologically distinguishable blastospore (blastoconidia) types (meso-blastospores micro-blastospores), arthrospores (arthroconidia).
